Studies show that CoolSculpting is one of the more effective fat reduction procedures. CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical, noninvasive medical procedure that helps remove extra fat cells from beneath the skin. Since it is a noninvasive treatment, there are several obvious benefits over the traditional surgical fat removal procedures.

CoolSculpting uses a procedure known as Cryolipolysis. It works by placing a section of fat into two panels and then cooling that fat to a freezing temperature. A study done in 2009 looked at the clinical efficacy of Cryolipolysis. Researchers found Cryolipolysis reduced the treated fat layer by up to 25 percent. Almost as notable is the fact that 6 months after the treatment, the results were still present.
