Does CoolSculpting Work On Everyone?

...and will it work for YOU?

CoolSculpting works on almost everybody. That is, it almost always does what it is supposed to do. CoolSculpting is the world’s No. 1, nonsurgical, zero downtime, and no needles procedure that can eliminate up to 25 percent of your fat. It’s based on the science of cryolipolysis, which uses cold temperatures to freeze and destroy fat cells.

CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared to treat nine (9) different areas of the body: visible bulges under the chin and jawline areas, thighs, abdomen, and flanks, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks, and upper arms.

It's Meant to Eliminate Stubborn Fat

CoolSculpting is for those hard-to-eliminate pockets of fat. If you have a bit of flab around the thighs, hips or belly, this treatment could be a good option. CoolSculpting does not work well for large deposits of fat. It also does not keep fat away if your weight increases. In short, it is best for weight-stable people who need a final push to get rid of stubborn love handles, lower-belly fat and so on.

It's Non-Invasive

CoolSculpting uses a special handset to freeze fat without damaging your skin. It's much less painful and has a much shorter recovery time than other fat-busting techniques, such as liposuction. There may be bruises from the massaging necessary to create an even treatment, but there is none of the scarring of liposuction.

Additionally, this treatment freezes your body tissues, and there is some discomfort associated with that. Side effects may include swelling, bruising, and sensitivity. Many patients also compare it to thawing after coming in from the winter cold — something that most of us Midwesterners are certainly used to.

Reshape Your Body

CoolSculpting effectively targets fat cells underneath your skin without damage to your skin or surrounding tissues. Treated fat cells are frozen and then die. In the weeks that follow, your body naturally processes and eliminates these dead fat cells. Treated fat cells are gone for good.

The typical CoolSculpting plan takes a few months and several treatments. It's important not to go over the same spot often, so please make sure everyone knows your goals and schedule before you start. You should see results, but it will probably take some time.

You can expect minimal recovery time. Normal day-to-day activities can resume almost immediately after the procedure.
